The updated desktop range can be viewed in person at Discount Electronics' showroom in Austin, and the staff is always on hand to discuss any aspect of a purchase. For education sector clients, the store has a dedicated Business Services division, with each school or college having an account manager who gets to know the needs and requirements of the organization. This ensures a higher level of service and an optimal level of maintenance or replacement of aging devices.
Among the latest arrivals in the store is the Dell Optiplex i7 All-In-One Windows 10 Computer. This machine is a versatile choice for schools with 8GB of RAM, a 128GB solid-state drive, and a vibrant 23" Full HD Display with 1920 x 1080 resolution. The computer also features a built-in webcam, DVD-ROM drive, six USB 3.0 inputs, and two USB 2.0 options.
These machines are available for $288.00 - a reduction of over $1,500 from the listed price for a new version. As pre-owned devices, there is likely to be some light cosmetic wear and tear - such as small scratches or imperfections - but nothing that is overly noticeable or affects the performance of the computer in any way.
If space is an issue, schools may also be interested in the compact Intel NUC Mini Computer. This machine offers robust performance with a small footprint and comes equipped with a 4th generation Intel Core i3-4010U dual-core processor and integrated Intel HD 4400 graphics, capable of delivering compelling visuals and supporting multiple displays. Connectivity is covered with multiple 'i/o' ports including HDMI, mini DisplayPort, USB 3.0, and more.
Schools and colleges can also access bulk order pricing and built-to-order machines as well as Net 30 Business and School Financing to help spread the cost of investing in upgraded tech for the classroom.
