Her education, while primarily in Michigan, did send her to Largo, Florida, for a few short months where she interned at a full-service eye care clinic and surgical center. When the opportunity arose at Robson Eye Institute in Clearwater, she jumped at the chance to move her family to the warm, southern sun.
Now, she is in practice with Pearle Vision, where she enjoys treating individuals of all ages and backgrounds. Her current endeavors include specialty contact lens fitting and advanced treatment of dry eye disease, and she plans to grow these areas to include a myopia management clinic and dry eye spa.
With ample experience, Dr. Dickson is an active member of Optometry Divas, the Pinellas Optometric Association, the Florida Optometric Association, and the American Optometric Association.
Optometry is a healthcare profession that involves examining the eyes and applicable visual systems for defects or abnormalities, as well as diagnosing and managing eye disease. Optometrists are healthcare professionals who provide primary eye care through comprehensive eye examinations to detect and treat various visual abnormalities and eye diseases.
