Covington, United States - March 16, 2020 /PressCable/ —

Ozburn Electrical Contractors, Inc. (OEC) of Covington, GA has announced the opening of their new Automation/Controls Group. Harold Ozburn, owner and CEO of Ozburn Electric, introduced Sam Johnson as the Senior Automation Engineer to oversee the newly formed division. During the ribbon cutting ceremony, Harold Ozburn detailed some of the goals for this new division, “Industrial automation in manufacturing is the use of ‘intelligent’ controls in facilities so that manufacturing processes can be carried out with minimal human intervention. One of the main benefits of the new Automation and Controls division is to educate our clients how to implement leaner operation processes that require less energy, less material, and reduced labor costs. Whether your current machinery needs to be used for a new application or if your control software needs to be upgraded to integrate into a modern line, Ozburn’s programming services and new technology can help improve the reliability and repeatability in the manufacturing process at a client’s facility.”

Sam Johnson, the Senior Automation Engineer, has many years of experience with a wide range of programming environments using both PLC control and SCADA systems to modify existing programs as well as upgrade outdated controls. Johnson went on to say that “Ozburn Electric’s new Automation/Controls Group Division has the tools and expertise to improve your manufacturing process with solutions that will help keep you on the road to profitability. From easy-to-use operator interfaces, with networked reporting capability, to entire client/server HMI/SCADA systems, Ozburn can put together the optimal solution for your application.”

Ozburn Electrical Contractors’ Automation/Controls Group Division will offer to the commercial and industrial client everything from basic motor controls to complex custom designs, PLC Programming, Human/Machine Interface (HMI), Communications Protocols, Drive Systems & Controls and Drafting & Documentation and much more including design and fabrication if needed. Sam Johnson went on to say that “with the team of experts that OEC has compiled, Ozburn’s Automation/Controls Group can match your specific equipment or process with the best process controls and automation system for your application. Many years of process experience and knowledge combined with our intimate familiarity with the latest control and automation components and software equals to a great team that is eager to work with the clients. OEC can customize a solution to meet your exact requirements and needs and within budget. Whether you need to upgrade your present system to meet changing requirements, or need a fully automated control system for a new process application, Ozburn has the expertise in designing and building automation systems for all of our existing and future industrial customers.”

Sam has a core belief that we should deliver what the customer needs, in the simplest form possible so the systems are easier to maintain and support as they age. Many businesses oversell services to drive profits over function and the needs of the customer.

Ozburn Electrical Contractors, Inc. is not a newcomer to the business. OEC has over 35+ years in the electrical business and even services some of the original customers from 1984. Longevity hasn’t been an accident for Ozburn and the CEO, Harold Ozburn, explains that he has instilled in all of his employees the need to practice his company’s long standing motto of “Quality Through Integrity”. Harold Ozburn went on to say that he wants his “employees to put themselves in the shoes of each and every one of the customer’s.” It’ s not an accident that Ozburn Electrical has grown to be the South’s #1 electrical company for commercial and industrial. It’s no wonder that when Nexstar Association and Media Group completed its annual Customer Satisfaction Survey, they found Ozburn Electrical Contractors, Inc. to be a “Top 10” company rated by a sampling of at least 200 customers. The Nexstar organization enlisted the help of an independent market research firm to rate companies on workmanship, promptness, dependability, customer relations, price, and overall satisfaction and found that Ozburn Electric ranked as a “Top 10” electrical services provider.

Mastermind review: Louis Koo plays detective in ludicrously bad Hong Kong mystery thriller

1/5 stars A fine line separates a labyrinthine murder thriller from an infuriatingly fragmented mess. With Mastermind, emerging Hong Kong writer-director James Hung Ling-ching (The Seventh Lie) crosses it with reckless abandon, delivering a detective mystery with such irredeemably awful plotting that genre fans will rarely have felt so insulted. Set over a single, relentlessly storm-soaked night in H City – a fictional, dystopian metropolis of 5 million starved of proper rule of law – the film...

Bali or Europe? Retired Hong Kong couple builds an ‘alpine’ retreat in the mountains

“At the moment, it’s about 23 degrees Celsius [73 degrees Fahrenheit],” says new hotelier Cheryl Kwok, looking out of her window on a recent overcast afternoon. “The rainy season is just about to start, so we’ve got a little drizzle. At night, it might drop to 14 or 16 degrees.” It may come as a surprise that Kwok, a native Singaporean and former Hong Kong resident, is based in Bali. The island is not exactly known for sweater weather or heated swimming pools, but that is precisely what she...
