Bologna Reopens To Tourists After COVID Lockdown

The Italian government has announced that Italy will reopen to tourists from June 3rd 2020. Emilia Delizia, a provider of food and wine tours, will be welcoming guests with safety measures in place.

With the lockdown rules loosening in Italy from June 3rd, food and wine tour operator Emilia Delizia is ready to welcome visitors to Bologna and Modena. Italy began to ease the restrictions put in place during the COVID-19 pandemic during May. From May 18th, some shops and other amenities were made available. Italy's beaches have also begun to reopen. From June 3rd, the country will start to welcome tourists again, with travel to and from abroad allowed, as well as regional travel being permitted again. There is no mandatory 14-day quarantine on arrival in Italy, unlike in some countries, although some regions such as Sardinia are considering their own requirements. However, it is important to note that gathering in public is still not allowed.
