The newly announced breathwork training will start on September 2, 2023, and will be carried out over the span of six months via live Zoom calls. With each of their 2-hour training sessions, the team strives to compress their 40 years of breathwork training and experience to give participants a head start to lead their own workshops as certified facilitators while experiencing a tangible improvement in their personal development.

Those who enroll in NeuroDynamic Institute's upcoming breathwork facilitator program will get 350 hours of online training by a panel of teachers, including founder Michael Stone, to cover all the steps to becoming a confident facilitator. The training will also feature sessions by two special guest speakers with expertise in spiritual emergency and ethics to ensure that participants master all the elements of the practice.
Alongside understanding the basics of breathwork and integral facilitation skills, participants will also get the chance to learn how to start their own breathwork business, build a roster of clients, and gain skills in addressing challenging situations and promoting support integration. Beginners in the breathwork practice will be also taught how to select music and create a welcoming space for their breathwork sessions, while those with existing practices will learn how to complement their sessions with Neurodynamic Breathwork.
Each session allows attendants to enjoy carefully selected, scientifically designed music that further contributes to their breathwork experience. They will be paired with a study partner to discuss topics, support and learn from each other and be able to take part in both online and in-person practicum sessions.
NeuroDynamic Institute believes that a major component of their training is the personal development portion of the program: with a third of the sessions being devoted to helping participants gain a deeper understanding of their strengths, weaknesses, beliefs, and fears, it also allows them to improve their self-awareness and "embark on a journey of self-discovery and transformation."
"NDB facilitator Training course is one of the most beautiful journeys I ever offered myself," a recent graduate of the program said. "The journey towards the depths of my inner reality in which many surprising, unpredictable, astonishing, often also heavy, suppressed and rejected material was brought up to my Awareness, worked on with great assistance of competent and compassionate organizers and processed to finally be released and let go."

Opened in the 1950s, Sai Woo was a two-storey restaurant in Toronto’s Chinatown, with a traditional Chinese banquet hall on the upper floor. Designed for wedding celebrations, the space featured a canopy with two columns, a golden dragon entwined on one and a phoenix on the other. Lazy Susans sat atop the round banquet tables. Chinatown was also home to Charlie’s Meat and Seafood, a white-tiled butcher shop that opened in 1971. Inside was a glass display case filled with cuts of meat. On the...

In 1986, a strange coincidence occurred in Hollywood. Despite the industry having previously shown little interest in the subject, two major Chinese-themed fantasy films were released in the same year: John Carpenter’s Big Trouble in Little China and the Eddie Murphy vehicle The Golden Child. Ever the cynic, Carpenter refused to believe in serendipity. “How many adventure pictures dealing with Chinese mysticism have been released by the major studios in the past 20 years?” he asked Starlog...

Every fortnight in Walthamstow, East London, a sign with a hand-painted goldfish pointing towards a kitchen window appears on the side of a residential building: “Lucky Yu Bakery pick up”.
