Chicago based wedding and engagement photographer, Gia Dragoi, has announced she can help couples to capture the happy moments of their engagement with photographs to cherish forever. Her engagement photo service offers couples the chance to show their love for each other in a creative way, and create images that they can share with loved ones and cherish for the rest of their lives.

Setting up an engagement session before the wedding can be highly beneficial for a number of different reasons. Gia explains that, from a quality point of view, it allows the couple to get to know her, and allows her to get to know them too.
This means that, by the time the session is finished, the couple know how she works, and the type of work they can expect going forward. It gives them a snapshot of how their wedding photos could look, and builds a foundation from which they can create more memories on their wedding day.
Usually with pre-wedding engagement photo sessions there is more time to set everything up, which allows the photographer to get more artistic. Sometimes photos have a more photo journalistic air than they would do at the wedding, because the couple and the photographer have the time to be as creative as they want to be.
Gia was born in Romania, but grew up and studied photography at the Art Institute of Ft Lauderdale, in Florida. Now she lives in Chicago with her husband, and takes great pride in helping couples to create memories to cherish forever.
She has been awarded the 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 Best of Chicago Wedding Photographers Award by the US Commerce Association (USCA).
Gia says: “For me, photography is more than a job; it is my passion, my career, and my life. I love to photograph most of all happy people in exquisite settings.”
The wedding day is one of the most important occasions in anyone’s life, and Gia can help clients to take home high quality photos of the occasion to remember forevermore.

Behind the carton: the story of the classic US Chinese takeaway container
It is an icon, that small white receptacle made from a single piece of cardboard folded into a trapezoid-shaped box. Sometimes there is a wire handle, sometimes a bright red graphic of a Chinese-style pagoda on the side. And inside, deliciousness. The Chinese takeaway container – at least, as it is commonly seen in the United States – is actually about as American as it gets, with its mix of ingenuity, immigrant cultures becoming home-grown staples, and the desire for convenience (also known as...
