Joey's Food Fight launches a new YouTube series, documenting its cooking mission in Ukraine.

As part of the charity organization's global food initiative, Founder and Chicago Chef Joey Morelli embarked on a mission to support families in need in Ukraine. The Joey's Food Fight YouTube channel now features a video series of the Ukraine Cooking Mission, sharing Morelli's experiences as he cooked food for the locals, taught refugees how to cook, supported local businesses, and more.

With the recently launched video series, Joey's Food Fight seeks to raise awareness for the hardships Ukrainians are currently facing, taking viewers behind the scenes as Morelli learned from and forged deep connections with the local community.
According to the World Food Programme (WFP), roughly one in three families in Ukraine — 11 million people — are food insecure. In light of the food crisis, exacerbated by the ongoing conflict, Joey's Food Fight set out to feed at least 100 people every day, over the course of its 30-day mission.
Joey's Food Fight's mission in Ukraine took Morelli to Stryi and Lviv, exploring the vibrant markets, crafting mouthwatering dishes with locally sourced ingredients, and learning about the culture. Beyond documenting the Chicago Chef's culinary journey, the series captures some of Ukraine's natural and cultural wonders, such as the picturesque Carpathian Mountains and the Ukraine Independence Day celebrations.
The series also shares experiences of the war and its impact on the lives of Ukrainians, featuring conversations with volunteers from East Ukraine, a man recently drafted into the military, and other members of the local community.
