Shark Tutor LLC (203-249-9460), a private tutoring company focused on standardized tests, has introduced tutoring sessions that can help students in Cos Cob, Greenwich, CT perform better on the SAT and PSAT.

The recently launched tutoring programs are designed to help high school students interested in attending top American universities perform well on their admission tests.
More details are available at https://www.sharktutorct.com
The new coaching sessions can help students develop the math, reading, and writing skills they need to score highly on the PSAT and SAT.
The 2022 SAT Suite of Assessments Annual Report showed that 1.7 million students in the high school class of 2022 took the SAT at least once. Training from Shark Tutor LLC will help students gain a competitive edge to stand out from the crowd and impress university admissions staff.
For students in the Cos Cob area, the company offers in-person tutoring services in the student’s home, the tutor’s home, or at a local library. Online tutoring via Skype is available for students that live farther away. The test preparation sessions typically last 60—90 minutes, and students are expected to devote a minimum of 1.5 hours a week to independent practice.
The tutors at Shark Tutor LLC create individualized plans for their students that include practice tests, exercises, and reading materials. The coaches will review content with the students, but also discuss pacing, test-taking strategies, and shortcuts.
Shark Tutor LLC was founded by Sharon Kistler, an Ivy League graduate with over thirteen years of coaching experience. The company offers SAT, PSAT, GMAT, GRE, and ACT test preparation, as well as academic tutoring. Its tutoring programs have helped over 800 students gain admission to premier universities such as Harvard, Yale, Berkeley, Cornell, Brown, NYU, and UCLA.
A satisfied client said, “Sharon is wonderful to work with and is incredibly knowledgeable. She tutored two of my children and helped increase both of their scores. She is excellent at personalizing what your child needs to learn and at explaining the material in a way that your child will remember. I highly recommend using her as a tutor.”
