Darryl John is a singer-songwriter from Melbourne Australia who creates music with an easy listening positive vibe. Darryl’s song writing takes you on a journey from overcoming adversity to learning to live a way of life merging science, metaphysics and love.
The songs that Darryl writes range from emotional thought provoking piano and acoustic folk ballads, to uplifting pop folk anthems. His new album of late 2017 is called A Way of Life. He has also written and produced the album himself and is a multi-instrumentalist playing piano, guitars and keyboards. The album was recorded, produced and mixed at four4ty recording studios.
Originally from London, he now lives, writes, produces and performs in Melbourne Australia. He hopes his music can spark an emotional response, fuel your creativity, inspire you in some way, and nurture you through both the good days and bad. Darryl’s wish is through the power of music you can sit back relax and enjoy this album and feel the positive vibe it was written with.
Having finished the album at the end of 2016, just 2 days after mastering the final mixes he starting to have symptoms of severe tinnitus, ringing in the ears which lead to extreme anxiety and depression. There is currently no cure for chronic severe tinnitus but Darryl is dedicated to continue on a road to recovery.
Darryl is trying to use a positive mind set and a healthy way of life and continue to write and produce new music and will be releasing more songs in 2018. Learning to live with the condition, he is positive and he is set on a path to habituation by using techniques in healthy living, metaphysics, science and love from his family and friends.
Only recently Darryl discovered that his dad has terminal brain cancer. Darryl has decided to release the album now in honour of his dad, Philip John who has shown so much courage, strength and positivity through his journey through cancer. Darryl hopes the album can inspire people whether they find themselves in either a good or bad place in their own lives.
