Dr. Lisa Swanson from Dharma Acupuncture Teaches Workshop on Esoteric Acupuncture in Scottsdale

May 16, 2023

May 16, 2023 - /PressAdvantage/ - Dharma Acupuncture, which is based in Scottsdale, AZ, has revealed that Dr. Lisa Swanson DAIM, L.Ac., has taught a workshop on April 29, 2023, Saturday, that focused on the Merkabah Spin pattern, a sequence of acupuncture points. The workshop integrated Esoteric Acupuncture (EA), Kundalini Yoga, and a Gong Bath sound healing. The kind of acupuncture that Dr. Swanson practices is focused on balancing and clearing the energy spin points in the body, which are called chakras, using a sequence of needle placements and sacred geometric patterns.

The Merkabah Spin pattern has the purpose of activating and aligning the fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh chakras. The fourth chakra is located in the heart and has to do with feelings. The fifth chakra is found in the throat and helps with communication and the way a person speaks. The sixth chakra is located between the eyebrows has to do with intuition a person perceives things. The seventh chakra is found on the very top of the head and connects a person to the Celestial Heavens and what is beyond the physical realm. Its pattern lights up the upper triangle and enables a person to feel and express love easily.

Everyone who attended the workshop was pleased and wanted a repeat of the workshop. The next workshop is scheduled on July 1, 2023, from 2 to 4 pm.

Dr. Swanson explains what is EA, “Developed by Mikio Sankey, Ph.D., L.Ac., EA is a complete system geared towards chakra balancing and looking at the body through a purely preventive lens. Instead of practicing in the disease care model, EA is best practiced with regular patient engagement and treatments given at 1-2x per month. Usually, patients will seek out acupuncture for a specific ailment, much like the use of western medical doctors. With EA, the patient is treated regardless of physical or psychological disturbances to maintain the forward progression of consciousness development.”

EA is focused on emotions, self-growth, and development in order to treat the patient’s consciousness and provide forward movement for the soul. With EA care, an awakening is expected to occur that will alter how patients feel and interact with themselves and others. The acupuncture treatments provided will allow patients to be fully relaxed in their physical body. They will also get the opportunity to experience their mental, etheric, and astral bodies, enabling them to access finer frequency levels that offer the best opportunity for spiritual growth and improving their Inner Plane work.

This is a love-based practice that promotes healing on all levels and is always done for providing the highest good. Compassionate and truthful discussions between acupuncturist and patient occur before treatment to guide and challenge the patient to achieve deeper healing. Guided meditations are also provided to improve the patient’s understanding and awareness of energetic patterns.

Dharma Acupuncture is headed by Dr. Lisa Swanson, DAIM, L.Ac., who practices mostly Esoteric Acupuncture, which is focused on prevention, regular wellness treatments, and the finer tuning of energy within the chakra systems. Dr. Swanson offers her services to those who are suffering from painful injuries and other chronic and acute health issues. She is currently practicing out of two offices in Scottsdale. She also provides house calls and telehealth session through Zoom. Dr. Swanson has been practicing herbal formulation and acupuncture since 2007. She is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist in the states of Arizona and California. She is also certified in functional medicine via The Institute of Functional Medicine. She earned her Doctorate and Masters of Science degrees in Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine at the Acupuncture Integrative Medicine College in Berkeley, CA.

Dr. Swanson says, “Acupuncture is a 5,000+ year old health tradition. Modern researchers have verified its countless benefits. As a practitioner I enjoy witnessing the somatic response of balance within a patient's body. Through proper diagnosis and treatment your body's natural healing mechanisms function properly, producing a tangible state of deep peace and relaxation. As reported by patients, regular treatments produce side effects that include better sleep, being less aggravated, driving more calmly, and an overall sense of well being.”

Why do some celebrity perfumes – think Ariana Grande, Britney Spears – stay popular?

There is a particular kind of deja vu that comes from a stranger’s perfume, when a scent – sugary-sweet in a lift, soft and creamy on a person’s jumper, flowery from a hug – drifts past and you know it long before you can name it. Chances are, a few of them come with a celebrity’s name. Famous names have long sold perfumes, intentionally or not. When Marilyn Monroe said in 1952 that Chanel No 5 was all she wore to bed, she did more for that bottle than any advertisement could, despite never...

There was much conviviality as the six of us explored beautiful Czech cities and towns, sampled hearty local cuisine and slipped effortlessly into the distinctive Malaysian-Singaporean patois – a lively hybrid of English, Chinese, Malay and some Indian vocabulary and syntax – that comes naturally to many...

How procrastination can harm your physical and mental health, and practical tips to stop it

“Have you made that doctor’s appointment about the lump on your back yet?” your spouse asks. You sheepishly mumble that you have not. Procrastination is no big deal; everyone puts off tasks they don’t want to do, right? Wrong, according to Fuschia Sirois, a professor of social and health psychology at Durham...
