Earthdance Celebrates 25 Year with 11 Global Festivals

Sep 23, 2022

San Francisco, California Sep 22, 2022 (Issuewire.com) - Celebrating 25 years of creating conscious events across the globe, Earthdance celebrated with 11 Earthdance festivals held across the globe.

From its psy-rave roots, Earthdance has grown to become one of the largest globally synchronized music and dance events, having been held in hundreds of locations in 80 countries.

Music, dancing, speakers, art, and vendors are all part of the festivals. The highlight is a synchronized moment of intention-the "Prayer for Peace." The Prayer for Peace is a moment of deep reflection and connection, and a powerful affirmation that unifies our intentions for peace, on all levels. Additionally, a portion of each event proceeds "give back" to a local charity of the organizer's choice.

This year, the festivals were held in: Turtle Creek and Los Gatos (California); Brisbane and Perth (Australia); Auckland (New Zealand); Norton (Zimbabwe), Budapest (Hungary); Johannesburg, and Nelson Mandela Bay (South Africa); and Porto Alegere (Brazil). It was also streaming from Florida (Radio Cave Foundation).

radioactive broadcasted the synchronized "Prayer for Peace" from Florida on https://www.youtube.com/c/radiocave-family. The Radio Cave event benefited The Ark Wildlife & Care Sanctuary. You can donate directly to the sanctuary here.

Here are some highlights from this past weekend!

  • In Brazil, there was an enormous bee statue, epic fire performers, and amazing live art including body painting.
  • In South Africa, the set and art installations were truly epic, and one committed Earthdance tribe member even got an AMAZING glow-in-the-dark Earthdance manicure!
  • In Hungary, Goapalo held it down and played an amazing set, and everyone had a lot of fun.
  • Virtually, Radiocave's Prayer for Peace event in partnership with Earthdance Florida raised a great chunk of money to benefit Ark Wildlife & Animal rescue.

Thank you to all our producers and everyone who came out to celebrate with us. We value our Earthdance tribe! If you are interested in working with Earthdance, go to EarthdanceGlobal.com.

Night at Yingtianmen

A thousand years ago, Luoyang was renamed Shendu – the "Divine Capital" – by Empress Wu Zetian, the only female emperor in Chinese history. In 694, envoys from across the known world raised the Tian Shu monument here, marking it as the center of the world. That cosmopolitan spirit never really left.

We are in the eastern Atlantic Ocean, 500 miles to 600 miles (800km to 1,000km) southwest of the Portuguese mainland, but the hill-studded landscape, challenging roads and the rotating patches of functional housing, opulent villas and open terrain remind me of Saint Barthelemy, far to our west, in...
