Board certified in pediatric dentistry, she is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (ABPD). The ABPD is the certifying board for the specialty of Pediatric Dentistry.
Pediatric dentistry is the branch of dentistry dealing with children from birth through adolescence. Pediatric dentists, also called pedodontists, specialize in diagnosing and treating dental problems in infants, children, and teenagers.
Dr. King's international public health involvement includes serving as an attending dentist in Jamaica alongside NOVA Southeastern University dental students, offering dental care in underserved areas.
