Live on Kickstarter, my Private SOS introduces a new dimension of safety and security outdoors.

Innsbruck, Austria - June 6, 2023 /MarketersMEDIA/ —

The my private SOS, the revolutionary new wearable smartphone outdoor alarm trigger allowing individuals to stay safe even in remote locations, is live on global crowdfunding platform Kickstarter and raising funds to bring the project to life.

Traveling alone in remote, outdoor locations or cities can often be dangerous when cell phones are unavailable nearby. When friends or loved ones unavailable to be contacted, this can leave individuals alone and in possible danger. The my private SOS is a breakthrough new wearable outdoor alarm trigger that allows users to alert personal contacts instantly at the push of a button while also calling attention to those nearby with an additionally shrill alarm siren.

“A few years ago, two critical incidents at the same weekend happened. First, I crashed in the mountains alone and couldn't reach my smartphone to call for help. Also, my daughter was harassed by some guys on the way from a disco to her car. In such a situation it could have been dangerous for her to take the smartphone out of her handbag. Fortunately, nothing happened,” says founder Reinhard Mairhofer on the inspiration behind he project. “After this, with two friends I created pe-SOS, a simple to handle and efficient outdoor alarm button for smartphones.”

When the user activates the button, my private SOS sends out 3 alarm emails, 2 alarm SMS messages and 2 automatic alarm phone calls to the individual’s selected emergency contacts. The messages display the current GPS location while the phone call lets the listener know the current geo coordinates. The my Private SOS can be worn as necklace on a lanyard, with a carabiner hook, a running armband, backpacks, hip bags and more. It is the perfect companion device for use at work, sports, travel, hiking plus health and every day security reasons.

“With my private SOS we want to start the next level of safety and security outdoors - with innovative and unique functions for a wide range of applications— worldwide,” adds Mairhofer. From a schoolchild to an adventurer to seniors; all smartphone users can improve their personal sense of security and safety outdoors with my private SOS.

The my private SOS is currently live and available to support on Kickstarter: www.kickstarter.com/projects/myprivatesos/my-private-sos-outdoor-alarm-trigger-for-smartphones

Why do some celebrity perfumes – think Ariana Grande, Britney Spears – stay popular?

There is a particular kind of deja vu that comes from a stranger’s perfume, when a scent – sugary-sweet in a lift, soft and creamy on a person’s jumper, flowery from a hug – drifts past and you know it long before you can name it. Chances are, a few of them come with a celebrity’s name. Famous names have long sold perfumes, intentionally or not. When Marilyn Monroe said in 1952 that Chanel No 5 was all she wore to bed, she did more for that bottle than any advertisement could, despite never...

How procrastination can harm your physical and mental health, and practical tips to stop it

“Have you made that doctor’s appointment about the lump on your back yet?” your spouse asks. You sheepishly mumble that you have not. Procrastination is no big deal; everyone puts off tasks they don’t want to do, right? Wrong, according to Fuschia Sirois, a professor of social and health psychology at Durham...
