Grand Junction CO - August 29, 2016 /MarketersMedia/ —
Donna Fullerton, owner of an online photo gallery was honored to be part of a group of fifteen photographers who took part of an exclusive National Geographic photo event. The group was able to participate in the Yellowstone National Park photo walk which honors the centennial year of the National Park Service. The group includes National Geographic photographer Charlie Hamilton James and several other NG editors. They will walk through selected areas of the Park in order to photograph wildlife and scenery in the first national park.
According to landscape photography professional Fullerton, “Being associated with National Geographic is not just an item on my bucket list, it is THE bucket list. It is a tremendous honor and opportunity for me to have been selected to participate in this event. I believe my selection may be tied to a photo I took of Mesquite Dunes in Death Valley. National Geographic featured that image on my profile which appeared on the Your Shot feature.
Another honor was according to Fullerton in 2015. Her landscape photo art of the Colorado National Monument was used at the cover photo on Eastern National's “America's National Parks—A Photographic Journey Through Nearly 400 National Treasures” book. The volume was released to commemorate one hundred years of the National Park Service.
The visit organized by National Geographic occurred on May 24 and 25. The landscape images which the photographers capture are an opportunity to portray the look of Yellowstone National Park in the Spring season. This was Donna's first trip to the Park during this season of the year.
Donna Fullerton's interest in art has evolved over the years. She is trained in piano, dance, flute and art from early childhood. She has lived in several different countries and experienced life in different cultures. She and her husband Steve make their home in the Colorado community of Grand Junction.

Far removed from the sweeping historical epics and sleek commercial blockbusters that have long defined the region’s cinematic exports, a quieter evolution is unfolding across Asian cinema. An emerging cohort of storytellers is eschewing grand spectacles to navigate the intimate, the unspoken and the marginalised. In doing so, these young directors are carving out a new path – one they view as more grounded and representative of contemporary life. Nadia Chui and Law Yik-man from Hong Kong, Bo...
A Taylor Swift music video is never complete without Easter eggs. When the pop superstar debuted the “Patient Zero” music video at the MTV Video Music Awards on September 27, fans were treated to a treasure trove of references and celebrity cameos. One of the familiar faces that popped up was Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, who was joined by his wife, Kelly Stafford. The two weren’t at the VMAs – the Rams were playing the Denver Broncos at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver,...

Eve Irvine is pleased to welcome Stephanie Hoffmann, Project Coordinator for Butembo, North Kivu, Doctors Without Borders. The Ebola outbreak is hitting a region already ravaged by decades of armed conflict, insecurity, and an overwhelmed health system. As the epidemic's epicenter shifts from Ituri to North Kivu, the disease is spreading and the transmission is accelerating. In Butembo, a densely populated city of around 2 million, health workers themselves are being placed in an impossible position, often caring for their neighbors and relatives without adequate protective equipment.

Bunnie Xo may have a new beau, and she’s not hiding it. For conservationists working around Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, protecting mountain gorillas has stopped being just about what happens inside the forest. Increasingly, the fight to safeguard the species is plying out on community land just outside the park boundary one seedling at a time.
1/5 stars Japanese comedian Naomi Watanabe plays a pop star who travels to the Taiwanese countryside in search of her ancestral home in the horror comedy Oh My Ghost! Oh My God! Marking the directorial debut of indigenous actor Soda Voyu, the film follows an eclectic group of oddball characters as they navigate all manner of supernatural obstacles in the hostile mountains, but fails spectacularly to be either scary or funny. A spiritual sequel to Hidden Treasures in the Mountain (2018), Oh My...
