New York City, New York Jun 15, 2023 (Issuewire.com) - Specializing in PET imaging, Dr. Semmler is an award-winning Philadelphia area diagnostic radiologist & nuclear medicine specialist. She is currently a part of the team of professionals at South Jersey Radiology Associates (SJRA).

Established in 1938, SJRA is a leading outpatient imaging provider that offers diagnostic and advanced medical imaging services for patients and physicians. It owns and operates eleven convenient office locations in the South Jersey and Philadelphia areas.

As a regionally recognized leader in medical imaging, SJRA strives to offer the highest level of care in a comfortable outpatient environment with costs up to 60% less than hospital-based imaging centers.

Throughout her academic career, Dr. Semmler completed her undergraduate degree at Lafayette College. She then earned her medical degree from the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey, after which she performed her internship at Brown University.

Wanting to further her training, she completed a residency in diagnostic radiology at Saint Barnabas Medical Center, followed by a fellowship at the University of North Carolina.

As a testament to her continued education, the doctor is board-certified in diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR). The ABR is a not-for-profit physician-led organization that oversees the certification and ongoing professional development of specialists in diagnostic radiology, interventional radiology, radiation oncology, and medical physics.

To boot, Dr. Semmler is board-certified in nuclear medicine by the American Board of Nuclear Medicine (ABNM). The ABNM serves the public through assurance of high-quality patient care by establishing standards of training, initial certification, and continuing competence of physicians providing nuclear medicine diagnostic and therapeutic services.

Diagnostic radiology is a medical specialization that involves undertaking a range of imaging procedures to obtain images of the inside of the body. A radiologist is a physician who uses imaging methodologies to diagnose and manage patients and provide therapeutic options.

Nuclear medicine or nucleology is a medical specialty involving the application of radioactive substances in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Nuclear medicine specialists use radioactive substances to examine, diagnose, and treat patients with life-threatening or chronic conditions.

On a more personal note, Dr. Semmler is an avid Mustang and Shelby collector and hobbyist. A regular at many Mustang Club of America and Team Shelby national events, she and her husband, Ron, are always crisscrossing the country driving their Mustangs.

Clayface review: DC spin-off delivers a grisly, vengeance-fuelled body-horror thriller

3.5/5 stars From Venom and Morbius to Birds of Prey and The New Mutants, elevating side characters to centre stage in Marvel and DC comic-book adaptations rarely takes flight. Clayface, however, is an exception. Set in the Gotham underworld, the new film features no sign – or even mention – of Batman, but no matter. A grisly but delicious tale of Hollywood excess, this DC thriller is part crime, part horror and certainly not one for the squeamish. Tom Rhys Harries (Suspicion) stars as Matt...
