More than 700 delegates from the Internet gaming industry came together in San Francisco last week, where the Hyatt Regency hosted the North American Global iGaming Summit and Expo (GiGse), one of the most important conferences on iGaming in the United States. The event circled around the topic of regulated Internet gambling in the United States, which has already become a reality in three states. At the same time the Social Casino Summit, which provides a platform for social casino developers and suppliers, also took place in the Hyatt Regency, giving guests of both events a chance to mix and mingle. Attendees ranged from established casino companies to aspiring start-ups.

The document is especially interesting given that performance data from the three states that allow iGaming, New Jersey, Nevada and Delaware, was just recently made available. The first impression of the results of the online gaming debuts in these three states is rather weak, but industry insiders know that the true value of online gaming in the United States cannot be judged based on theses initial numbers.
