The company is presenting a smart ring registered in China for blood oxygen and pulse rate measurement, a screen-free smart band and connected digital health technology.
Beijing, China, October 23, 2026 -- J-Style (Youhong Medical) is showcasing its smart rings, smart bands and connected digital health technologies at the 94th China International Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF), taking place October 21–24 at the Capital International Exhibition and Convention Center in Beijing.
The exhibition highlights the company's work in wearable health monitoring, biosensor technology and AI-assisted health data analysis, as healthcare technology companies explore ways to make personal health information more accessible and useful in everyday life.

The Next Stage of Wearable Technology Is About More Than Collecting Data
As wearable devices become increasingly integrated into everyday life, access to personal health data is becoming more convenient.
A smart ring or a screen-free smart band can continuously track signals such as heart rate, blood oxygen levels, sleep patterns and physical activity during daily wear. Compared with occasional, single-point measurements, long-term data collection offers new opportunities to observe changes in an individual's health patterns over time.
But data collection is only the first step.
How can the quality of physiological signal acquisition be improved? How can relationships between different data points be identified? And how can complex physiological measurements be translated into information that everyday users can understand? These questions are becoming central to the ongoing evolution of wearable health technology.
In this context, the integration of biosensor technology and AI algorithms is playing an increasingly important role.
Biosensor technology provides the foundation for physiological data collection. Through optical sensors, motion sensors and signal-processing techniques, it converts changes in the human body into data that can be analyzed. AI can then support further processing, pattern recognition and trend analysis, helping make sense of data collected over time.
Together, these technologies are creating opportunities for wearable devices to evolve beyond basic data-recording tools into digital health platforms capable of delivering ongoing health insights.
However, the quality of sensor data, the scope and limitations of algorithms, and the scientific basis for health-related conclusions remain critical factors in determining whether these capabilities can deliver reliable and meaningful value.
Smart Ring Registered for Blood Oxygen and Pulse Rate Measurement in China
Among the products on display is the JCRing Med X3 smart ring. According to J-Style, the device has obtained a Class II medical device registration certificate in China for measuring blood oxygen saturation and pulse rate in adults.
The ring combines a compact wearable form with physiological monitoring capabilities, reflecting growing interest in devices that can collect health-related data without requiring users to wear a traditional wrist-based device.
J-Style also highlights additional health-management functions, including sleep monitoring and AI-assisted health risk assessment. These features are intended to support users in reviewing health-related patterns over time.
The company emphasizes that AI-assisted assessments are designed to provide informational insights rather than replace clinical diagnosis or conventional medical measurements. The scope of registered medical-device functions remains distinct from other health-management features.
Screen-Free Smart Band Designed for Everyday Wear
J-Style is also presenting the JCVital Pro V8, a screen-free smart band developed for continuous daily wear.
According to the company, the band offers battery life of up to approximately 15 days and an IP68-rated dust and water resistance specification, subject to product specifications and usage conditions.
The device collects data related to sleep, physical activity and recovery, with additional features for reviewing activity patterns and health-related trends. Its associated digital services include AI-assisted insights and periodic health reports designed to help users interpret accumulated data.
The screen-free design reflects an approach that prioritizes lightweight wearability and long-term use, while allowing users to review information through connected digital interfaces.

Connecting Biosensors, AI and Digital Health Services
Beyond individual products, J-Style is exploring how biosensors, data analysis, AI-assisted insights and cloud-based services can work together within a connected health-management framework.
The company sees opportunities to make wearable data more useful through longitudinal analysis, personalized reporting and clearer presentation of health-related information.
At the same time, the development of these technologies raises important considerations around data quality, algorithm validation, privacy and information security. Reliable health insights depend not only on the amount of data collected, but also on how accurately it is measured, interpreted and communicated.
Digital Health Applications and Industry Collaboration
CMEF brings together medical device manufacturers, healthcare technology companies, distributors and other industry participants from China and international markets.
For J-Style, the exhibition provides an opportunity to present its wearable product portfolio and exchange views on the development of digital health applications, including the potential role of smart rings and smart bands in personal health monitoring and connected health services.
As wearable technology continues to develop, the company is focusing on the integration of sensing hardware, data analysis and digital services to support a broader range of health-management applications.

“Many people, when they first smell Chinese incense, describe it as smelling like Chinese medicine,” says Shanghai-based incense master Sun Na. “And it’s true, the classic Chinese incense we’re talking about is primarily medicinal in character.” She points to a spherical censer, a vessel designed to burn incense. “In winter, you could put it under the blankets to scent and warm the bedding,” she says. “If you had trouble sleeping, calming herbs could be added. This is what we call zhi wei bing –...
