Lerner and Rowe Injury Attorneys is hosting a FREE Phoenix Thanksgiving pop-up event on Saturday, November 4, 2023 from noon until supplies last at the Metro Auto Auction (2475 S 59th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85043). The law firm will be giving away 750 food packages to include goodies to help prepare a traditional holiday meal. As this is a drive-thru event, families are asked to remain in their vehicles and just open their trunk or a side door to allow volunteers to easily place items inside. Please note that only one Thanksgiving food package will be handed out per vehicle, on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. No exceptions will be made.
“Recognizing that Maricopa County families may face challenges purchasing and preparing a traditional Thanksgiving meal this year due to inflated food prices, we are deeply appreciative to be able to, once more, provide support by hosting our annual FREE Thanksgiving meal giveaway in Phoenix.” Kevin Rowe, Esq. shared further, “Moreover, we aim to bring even greater joy to Phoenix families during this holiday season as we initiate our traditional 25 Days of Giving social media giveaway, launching the day after Thanksgiving.”

For generations, South Africans have known how to welcome people, whether through a steaming pot of umngqusho shared around the fire or the careful sweeping of a verandah before guests arrived. Hospitality is a vital part of our heritage and has long been one of the threads connecting our various cultures and traditions. As a nation, we are well-known for it: a quality closely linked to the philosophy of ubuntu, which reminds us that our humanity is bound up in one another.

As international fashion companies increasingly incorporate traditional Chinese design elements into their collections, accusations of cultural appropriation have flooded social media. The annual Oktoberfest, first held in October 1810 to celebrate a royal wedding, is about more than just beer. There are amusement rides, games, stalls selling things you...
