The addition of their Manitex and Link-Belt cranes increases the capacity for both local contractors and homeowners with heavy lift and hoisting requirements. Dependable’s Sacramento-based crane fleet offers a lift capacity between 20+ to 75 tons depending on the requirement.
The company is expanding its reach to meet demand from companies like Ace Heating and Cooling, which has been working with owner Danny Matranga and his team for several years, and happy to continue working with them under their new name Dependable Crane.
“I’ve been using Danny and his guys for a long time…They’re here with me today, helping set some curbs for us at a new surgery center. They help us anytime we need them!” said Eric Walker, Operations Manager, Ace Heating and Cooling.
Dependable Crane opened its doors in February 2021 after the closing of 321 Crane. 321 Crane was a partnership that ended around the same time with the owners making the difficult decision to part ways and focus on serving different parts of Northern California. Owner Danny Matranga has over 30 years of crane operations experience and continues to go the extra mile for his clients.
Jared Maxwell, Operations and Sales Manager at Dependable, explained that a significant area missing by their competitors was a proper analysis of lift requirements. He explained, “We try to understand the project on a deeper level to ensure we provide the optimal rigging configurations and equipment, ultimately reducing delays for our contractors and homeowners. That translates to project savings.”
He explained that through cutting-edge 3D Lift Modeling, they could virtually run simulations of potential threats before the crane arriving at the job site. In doing so, they’re able to make their time onsite even more efficient and safe than many crane rental providers.
