Hilton Head Island, United States - January 24, 2018 /PressCable/ —
Delta Discovery Center (DDC), a new wellness center in Hilton Head, SC, is holding a giveaway contest in celebration of its grand opening and the launch of its web site, DeltaDiscoveryCenter.com, in January 2018. This contest is being held to spread the word about the new wellness center.
More than 10 amazing prizes await lucky winners. The major prizes will be drawn when the Delta Discovery Center Facebook page reaches 5,000 followers. One winner will take the grand prize of an Amethyst Mat with Far Infrared Heating. Other prizes include a Meridian Stress Assessment with Bioenergetic Testing (3 winners), and a custom DDC 30 oz. Stainless Steel Vacuum Tumbler (5 winners).
Other bonus prizes will be handed out each time the Delta Discovery Center Facebook Page hits a new milestone – that is, when it reaches 1,000, 2,000, 3,000, and 4,000 fans or followers.
Those who want to participate in the contest can join using the form at DeltaDiscoveryCenter.com Grand Opening Contest
All participants are encouraged to Like the Delta Discovery Center Facebook page. Although this is not a requirement to win, the page will reach the targeted number of likes faster … and the prizes will be awarded more quickly. After “liking” the Facebook page, participants receive a personalized contest link to spread the word … so that their friends can join the contest. Winners will be announced on the Delta Discovery Center Facebook page and through email.
Since the main goal of the contest is to spread the word about the Delta Discovery Center, the more action a participant takes to share the contest link, the more chances they have of winning any of the prizes. The link can be shared anywhere online.
Bonus points will be given to those who make an extra effort to promote the contest. DDC will be giving 100 points for each entry that joins using their link, 10 points for each Facebook post about the contest that includes their contest link, and 1 point each time someone clicks that link. Although everyone has a chance to win, contest point leaders will have a huge advantage.
“The Delta Discovery Center is a place to plug in to get unplugged … and unstuck on Hilton Head Island. We created the Center to make it easier to focus on self-care for the whole self … body, mind and spirit. The contest is a great way to help us spread the word.” – Dr. Gala Gorman

Though data suggests tobacco use has long been trending downward, experts say if we want it to stay that way, harmful online content that glamourizes smoking shouldn't be ignored.

For generations, South Africans have known how to welcome people, whether through a steaming pot of umngqusho shared around the fire or the careful sweeping of a verandah before guests arrived. Hospitality is a vital part of our heritage and has long been one of the threads connecting our various cultures and traditions. As a nation, we are well-known for it: a quality closely linked to the philosophy of ubuntu, which reminds us that our humanity is bound up in one another.

As international fashion companies increasingly incorporate traditional Chinese design elements into their collections, accusations of cultural appropriation have flooded social media. In recent years, brands such as Zara and Adidas have been criticised for adopting Chinese tailoring features such as Mandarin collars and pankou, or frog buttons. While Zara drew backlash for mislabelling these elements as generic “fireman clasps” without acknowledging their heritage, Adidas sparked debate over...

So there I was, spending a weekend at Theresienwiese, surrounded by bewildering varieties of beer and their drinkers. The annual Oktoberfest, first held in October 1810 to celebrate a royal wedding, is about more than just beer. There are amusement rides, games, stalls selling things you...
