Pasadena Tree Services Fixes Oak Tree After Ice Storm Damage

Pasadena, California Sep 27, 2022 (Issuewire.com) - When Edi was woken up in the middle of the night by the loud sound of an ice storm breaking his favorite oak tree, the homeowner thought he was about to lose his tree. A tree with a broken crown hanging dangerously over his house convinced him to call his favorite tree care team for an emergency tree removal procedure.

"The family has been using Pasadena Tree Services for about ten years now," said Edi when talking to reporters. "One thing that has always made the company stand out for the family is its fast response to the family's tree service requests--the company has always handled tree care procedures on the same day they were ordered."

The homeowner noted that he had known the company offered emergency tree services on a 24/7 basis. However, the fact that he had never used these services made him unsure whether he would receive the services he needed in the middle of the night.

"It was about 11:45 pm when the family called to request the emergency tree removal procedure," said Edi. "Everyone in the family sighed relief when the phone call was received on the first ring. The person on the other end of the line noted that a complete emergency tree removal team would be sent to the landscape to check the trees and provide a solution."

Edi was surprised when the emergency tree removal team arrived on the landscape an hour after the call. The homeowner had reportedly not expected the team to be that quick.

"The team came prepared for the tree maintenance procedure," said Edi. "They had powerful spotlights that allowed them to study the tree and determine the most effective solution. While the family was expecting to pay for tree removal, the company's chief of field operations noted that this would not be necessary as the tree could be saved with a combination of tree pruning and cabling."

The homeowner was impressed when Pasadena Tree Services started working on the tree less than 10 minutes after arriving. The company reportedly removed most of the branches from the tree crown. According to the team, this would reduce the weight the broken crown had to bear.

"The company then went ahead and used powerful cables to re-attach the broken crown to the main tree trunk," said Edi. "Less than an hour later, the tree was already looking healthier and safe to the environment."

The homeowner noted that he did not want to lose a tree that had been part of his childhood. The dedication of the Pasadena Tree Services team to saving the tree impressed him.

"This home has been in the family's hands for about 200 years now," said Edi. "This means that the home boasts a lot of family history. For example, the family planted the oak tree about 100 years ago; letting go of the tree would have been a difficult decision--luckily, this is a decision the family did not need to go through with."

The homeowner told reporters that he was impressed with the work done by Pasadena Tree Services. The team used its new bucket trucks to make the entire procedure safe and quick. In addition, he noted that he received a very affordable quotation for the whole of the project.
