New York City, New York May 14, 2021 (Issuewire.com) - Desiring to create a unique pediatric care environment, Dr. Floyd founded Sunset Pediatrics in 2008. Sunset Pediatrics in South Miami, Florida is a concierge-model practice where patient care, personal relationships, access to care, and attention to detail are the hallmarks. The practice focuses on every aspect of childhood and adolescent growth and development -including wellness, social and educational needs, adolescent concerns, and children with complex medical/developmental conditions.

A Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP), he is board-certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). The mission of the ABP is to advance child health by certifying pediatricians who meet standards of excellence and are committed to continuous learning and improvement.
In his professional experience, Dr. Floyd serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of St. Philip's Episcopal School, as a member of the Board of Trustees of Westminster Christian School, and as a member of the Pediatric/Child Health Committee at South Miami Hospital. Pediatrics is the branch of medicine that involves the medical care of infants, children, and adolescents. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends individuals be under pediatric care up to the age of 21. Pediatricians provide medical care to people ranging in age from newborns to young adults. They are trained to examine, diagnose, and treat children with a wide variety of injuries and illnesses through all of their developmental stages, as they grow and mature.
On a more personal note, Dr. Floyd's greatest passions are his faith and his family. He attends Christ Fellowship Church in Palmetto Bay where he and his family are involved in several church ministries. He is married to Debbie Gerspacher Floyd, a Coral Gables native. They have three children with whom they love to explore the world and experience life to the fullest.

Wenceslas (Václav in Czech) was born around 907 and became ruler of Bohemia as a teenager. Raised as a Christian, he promoted Christianity – then relatively new to...
