Portable Pain Relief Therapy Unit For Fibromyalgia With TENS Burst Mode Launched
Oct 23, 2023
Summary
Desk Jockey, an online store specializing in wellness and lifestyle products, is now offering a wireless TENS unit manufactured by iTENS. The portable pain relief therapy unit uses TENS (transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation) technology to promote pain relief and relaxation in major joint and trouble areas of the body. It can be attached to the skin, providing targeted relief for back pain, neck pain, knee pain, ankle pain, shoulder pain, and elbow pain. Desk Jockey specifically recommends the device to individuals living with Fibromyalgia, a condition that affects about 4 million American adults and causes widespread pain and reduced quality of life. Although Fibromyalgia cannot be cured, its symptoms can be managed through treatments such as TENS technology. The wireless TENS unit stimulates nerves, blocks pain messages to the brain, promotes blood circulation, and aids in the release of endorphins. Desk Jockey's iTENS device is a drug-free therapy option that can be used alongside other treatments. The online store offers two models of the device - a smaller portable wireless model and a larger plug-in model - both with integrated app connection and usability. Desk Jockey aims to revolutionize pain management by providing maximum convenience and effectiveness with its wireless TENS unit.

Manufactured by iTENS, the wireless TENS unit now available at Desk Jockey’s online store uses wireless electrotherapy to promote pain relief and relaxation in any major joint or trouble area in the body. The portable physiotherapy device can be simply attached to the skin, making it effective for targeted relief of back pain, both upper and lower, neck pain, knee pain, and ankle pain, as well as shoulder and elbow pain. As such, Desk Jockey recommends the device to individuals living with Fibromyalgia who often experience pain throughout their body.

Desk Jockey is specifically reaching out to individuals living with Fibromyalgia as the condition rises in prevalence in the United States. According to the latest figures from the CDC, Fibromyalgia now affects about 4 million American adults, or 2% of the population. This often debilitating condition causes sufferers to feel widespread pain and often leads to a significant reduction in the quality of life of sufferers.
While the condition cannot be cured and its causes are still not known or fully understood, the team at Desk Jockey knows its symptoms can be managed. Drawing on the positive research that is now associated with TENS technology, Desk Jockey has worked with iTENS to bring customers their new wireless pain relief therapy unit.
The portable physiotherapy device uses transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation to stimulate the nerves and block pain messages to the brain. Using innovative features such as its burst mode, the device can also help to stimulate blood circulation, which may in turn promote healing, and it can also aid in endorphin release, another natural pain killer.
The team at Desk Jockey understands the immense physical and emotional strain that Fibromyalgia places upon its victims and is also aware that most individuals don’t want to be reliant on strong painkillers to manage their condition. Therefore, they endorse their new iTENS device as a drug-free therapy option that can be used in conjunction with any other treatments a person is undergoing.
Desk Jockey currently retails two models of the iTENS device: the new smaller portable wireless model, and a larger plug-in model which is powered by four electrodes. All of their devices offer integrated app connection and useability.
A spokesperson for the online store said, “Experience the future of pain relief with our wireless TENS unit for nerve pain, a state-of-the-art wireless TENS device designed for maximum convenience and effectiveness. Revolutionize your pain management with the wireless tens unit for nerve pain app, putting control and relief at your fingertips.”

TOURISM IS GROWING - THE CHOICES MADE NOW WILL SHAPE ITS FUTURE
Global tourism is entering a new era of strategic choices. The industry is still generating economic growth, but geopolitical instability, climate pressures, investment challenges and technological disruption are testing its long-term competitiveness. The numbers reveal a paradox. According to the World Economic Forum’s Travel & Tourism Development Index 2026, 92% of the 110 economies assessed have improved their conditions for tourism development since 2024. The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) forecasts a US$12 trillion contribution to the global economy in 2026, supporting around 376 million jobs.
Stand-up comedian Jordan Leung on moving to the US and Hong Kong show backlash
“I think about quitting all the time,” says Jordan Leung, known to his Instagram followers as @69ranch. Scotland’s wild wellness boom, from Gleneagles to Loch Lomond
For a while, the blueprint for a serious wellness trip looked pretty much the same everywhere. A flight to somewhere warm, a resort with a view of jungle or terraced rice paddies, a treatment menu borrowing names from ancient traditions, and enough linen to last a lifetime. Scotland was never really part of that picture. It was the place people went for whisky, castles and rain, not the place they went to reset. Then this summer, Scotland’s men’s football team appeared at their first World Cup...
