November 15, 2019 - /PressAdvantage/ - Revival Products Inc., a business based in Kernersville, North Carolina, has announced that they have added new flavors to their shakes, such as blueberry, peach, and banana. These soy products for menopause relief or weight loss are available in various forms and the most common is in the form of protein shakes. These Revival soy shakes are now available in eight flavors: strawberry banana, blueberry, vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, cappuccino, peach, and banana.
These soy products were invented by Dr. Aaron Tabor, Medical Research Consultant for Revival Products. They would like to stress that these products are not regular soy in the sense that a unique concentration process was employed so that there would be less soy intake while the benefit is similar to drinking six cups of soy milk. The reason is that Dr. Tabor had discovered a way to make a Revival soy shake contain the same amount of soy isoflavones found in six cups of regular soy milk.
Revival Products has patented the technology for the natural concentration process that allows just one Revival Soy protein shake or bar to contain about 160 milligrams of soy isoflavones. This means people can take fewer servings to get the 160 mg of soy isoflavones per day, which implies they would be ingesting less calories and less fat. It should also be pointed out that while there are pills containing concentrated isoflavones, these are not the same as the soy products that also contain other soy phytonutrients.
People can also take the soy protein for weight loss. This is based on the fact that people just need to drink one Revival soy shake to get the isoflavones that are found in six cups of regular soy milk. They are able to lose weight because they are able to avoid the fat and calories found in the six cups of soy milk while still getting the required protein and isoflavones.
These soy products were the result of the efforts of Dr. Tabor, son of Suzanne Tabor, president of Revival Products. Dr. Tabor was then a graduate of Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and he wanted to find a way to relieve the discomforts that his mother was suffering from because of menopause. Dr. Tabor noticed that Asian women who consume up to six servings of soy foods everyday had significantly lower rates of menopausal hot flashes. However, mother and son found that consuming enough soy to obtain the benefits was difficult because of the taste and texture of soy.
The breakthrough came when they realized that the highest concentration of isoflavones can be found in the hypocotyl, which is the core of the soybean. They were able to develop a patented natural concentration process that permits the blending of the isoflavone-rich part of the soybean with a separate protein-rich portion to provide a final product that is rich in both soy isoflavones and soy protein.
By using the Revival soy products in combination with exercise, people have been able to lose weight. Since exercise is difficult to do at the start, brisk walking for 30 to 45 minutes for 6 days a week can be a start. This combined with consuming soy protein has been found to allow people to lose an average of 26 pounds in 16 weeks, including a belly fat loss of 25 percent.
An important purpose of the Revival soy products is, of course, to reduce hot flashes and night sweats caused by menopause. This has been proven in a research study that contrasted the effectiveness of soy shake with that of a placebo on menopausal discomforts for 60 Brazilian women between the ages of 40 to 60 and have become postmenopausal. The study confirmed the possible benefits of dietary soy for relieving mild common discomforts that accompany the natural progression of menopause.
