Santa Clara, California — The Ultrasound Technician/Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program at Institute for Business and Technology (IBT) in Santa Clara is now an American Registry of Radiologic Technicians (AART)-Recognized Educational Program.
Institute for Business and Technology (IBT) is an accredited technical school based out of Santa Clara, California. IBT offers a number of hands-on training programs that prepare students for entry-level work in their field of study upon program completion. These programs range from trade programs (HVAC technician, electrician, building maintenance and facilities technician) to Allied Health programs (medical biller/coder/office assistant, medical assistant, lab assistant, EKG technician/phlebotomist). One of the newest programs added to IBT’s impressive repertoire is its Diagnostic Medical Sonographer/Ultrasound Technician program.
IBT is pleased to announce that it’s new Ultrasound Technician/Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program is now officially an ARRT-Recognized Educational Program.
The American Registry of Radiologic Technicians (AART), is the largest credentialing organization in the world that seeks to ensure the highest quality care in medical imaging, interventional procedures, and radiation therapy. AART registers and certifies technologists by administering education, ethics, and examination requirements.
Many of IBT’s career training programs have their own industry-specific, programmatic accreditations and credentials. Additionally, as a school, IBT also has accreditation and approval from a number of independent bodies. IBT is licensed to operate as a non-degree granting private institute by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE). IBT is also accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC). ACCSC is listed by the US Department of Education as a nationally-recognized accrediting agency.
IBT takes great pride in their campus accreditation as well as their program-specific accreditations and credentials. Maintaining third-party recognition validates that IBT and its programs exceed standards in curriculum, training, and career placement.
