The World's First Indoor Slide Park Expands Smoky Mountain Attractions with Thrilling Spiral Slide Designed for Riders Ages 4 and Up.
Pigeon Forge, United States, September 29, 2026 /PressCable/ -- Slick City Action Park, the world’s first indoor dry-slide and action park, announced the official October opening of its newest thrill attraction, the Corkscrew slide, at its Pigeon Forge location on 3735 Parkway.
Designed for guests ages 4 and older, the Corkscrew slide delivers a high-speed slide experience without the water. Riders board specialized mats and launch into a series of tight, sweeping spirals and rapid direction changes before reaching an explosive final drop.
"The Corkscrew brings a dynamic new motion to our Pigeon Forge slide lineup," said Marcus Watson, VP of Marketing for Top Concepts. "We built this park to deliver year-round, high-energy entertainment to the Smoky Mountains, and the Corkscrew’s continuous spinning loops add an extra rush that guests of all ages are going to love."
Key features of the new attraction at Slick City in Pigeon Forge include:
Twisting Layout: Multiple tight loops designed to mimic the feeling of descending through a high-speed vortex.
Smooth Glide Technology: Precision engineering allowing seamless, rapid transitions while riding on Slick City’s signature mat system.
All-Ages Accessibility: Engineered for maximum excitement while remaining accessible for younger thrill-seekers and families alike.
The addition of the Corkscrew expands Slick City’s robust indoor lineup, which features specialty slides, air courts, an arcade, a candy store, and dedicated areas for younger children.
Don’t miss the chance to be one of the first to experience this brand-new slide. Tickets, safety waiver information, and more information are available online at www.slickcitypigeonforge.com or by calling 865-366-3400.

Style Edit: 45R’s new knits spotlight texture and Japanese craftsmanship
The appeal of a good knit is often immediate, from the softness against the skin to the reassuring volume and warmth. At 45R, those qualities begin well before a garment takes shape. The Japanese label’s latest selection puts the making process in focus, bringing together airy merino, characterful Shetland wool and the flecked textures of Donegal tweed. Founded in Tokyo in 1977, 45R approaches clothing through monozukuri, or the “art of making”, a philosophy centred on respect for craft and...

Colton Hood, then a Tennessee cornerback, now on the New York Giants’ roster, rocked up in a cobalt-blue jacket that, when opened, revealed a swathe of family photographs across the lining, chronicling his...

O3’s Luca Yang hated studying. So he built 24/7 study cafes to motivate people like him
At 22, Luca Yang was running a small teaching company in New Zealand after quitting a six-figure finance job that he hated. It had humble beginnings, where he tutored English online for A$25 (US$17.55) per hour just to get by. When one of his students got into Oxford, word spread: one student became 50, then 500. By most measures, he had already won the start-up lottery. “It was producing a lot of money, but it wasn’t something I actually loved doing,” says Yang, who was born and raised in...
