Sep 24, 2022
Currently streaming on Tubi, the award-winning Erik Fellows’ Starf*cker has been tremendously praised by the audience. To be soon available on Amazon.
Los Angeles, California Sep 24, 2022 (Issuewire.com) - Starf*cker is a new film featuring the award-winning actor Erik Fellows in the lead role. Set in the world of the entertainment industry, the story revolves around the personal life of an acclaimed Hollywood actor unfolding the extreme opposite side of his eye candy life. It is currently streaming on Tubi and will soon be available for Amazon subscribers.
Erik Fellows has been previously part of Being Rose, Break Even, Texas Heart, Purgatory, Days of Our Lives, and The Bay. Known for his versatility and ability to completely mold into character and improvise effectively, Erik is playing a role of a narcissistic psychopath with ADD, BPD, and sex addiction. In a never seen avatar, the lead of the film Jimmy Starr, tries to sleep his way to the top of Hollywood, only to find his world crashing down around him in this dark comedy story.
The film opens with a struggling actor, Jimmy Starr, who is determined to make his way up the ladder of globally renowned Hollywood celebrities and does everything to earn fame and power. His dedication and hard work turn into an obsession, and he slowly indulges deep into the mess, starting at the bottom of the Z-list and working his way up via favors and one-night stands. Things take an exciting turn when his ex-fiancée and brother re-enter the picture and he is forced to navigate real life and discover if he is more than just a narcissistic psychopath.
'I enjoyed every second of Jimmy Starr in me. Erik and Jimmy are 180 degrees apart and that was probably the most intriguing factor when Mark brought the script to me. He was more confident than I was and in his head, he had visualized me playing Jimmy. I guess for an actor to be fully trusted by the director, I knew I had to take it up and I am extremely happy I did. The co-producing experience is a whole other story, it has been educational and inspirational for me. This was the first time I was truly a part of a film from beginning to end, from conception to completion and delivery. The process was insane and stressful at times. But in the end, it was extremely rewarding and fulfilling. My cast and crew gave everything they had to this project, and I'm excited to show the world what we came up with. I really hope people enjoy the one-of-a-kind film that director/creator/writer/producer Mark David has given us. I'm extremely grateful for this opportunity, and I'd like to thank Mr. Mark David for always believing in me and giving me this unique role to play.' -Lead actor Starf*cker Erik Fellows.
Written by Joshua A. Cohen, Chad Zhusik, and Mark David, who is also the director and producer, the film also stars Weston Cage and Blake Clark in pivotal roles along with James Ruso, Robert Miano, Mara Marini, Kacy Owens, Weston Cage, Caroline Macey, Johnny Dowers, Dusty Sorg, and Clement von Franckenstein in supportive roles. The film is co-produced by Erik Fellows and Chad Zhusik.
Starf*cker keeps the viewers hooked till the very last minute. An amalgamation of comedy, dark, and non-fiction genres, it effortlessly delivers a compelling, relatable story. The inclusion of subliminal messages is a cherry at the top for viewers. The film has received positive reviews and has been growing since its release. It is officially declared a hit by film critics. Mark David further shared:
'I along with my team had been trying really hard to bring something like this for the viewers. The pandemic has taken its worst toll on the entertainment industry and the audience has responded positively to cinema-going digital. We are hopeful that through Amazon, the film will reach a much wider audience. The response on Tubi is overwhelming and we are truly grateful. Watch the film and let us know what you think about it through our social media channels! We like to connect with our audience personally.'

As more young couples say yes to lab-grown, are natural diamonds losing their sparkle?
At the end of the day, it all comes down to price. That is why Pat Chung prefers lab-grown diamonds. The 36-year-old Hongkonger says they are much cheaper than a natural diamond for the same quality and size and they are easier to source. “I searched for the exact colour, size and shape that I wanted and sent it to my jeweller,” Chung says, adding that more people are opting for lab-grown diamonds compared to a decade ago. The global trend shows how dramatically the diamond business has changed...

I grew up eating bowls of Chinese migration history. You?
The dining table disappeared beneath a lavish procession of dishes. Our family took food seriously. It was sacred, even. Dinner was never merely about eating. It was the one time each day when everyone was expected to gather, regardless of schedules, moods or whatever else the world demanded outside that room. At the centre sat the pièce de résistance: a whole steamed fish, usually sea bass, topped with ribbons of ginger and spring onion in a fragrant pool of oil and soy sauce. Alongside it were...
How China’s macabre practice of human sacrifice in burials came to an end
Archaeologists have long found a disturbing pattern in the graves of ancient rulers: the dead were sometimes accompanied by other dead. Around royal tombs, the remains of people – who appear to have been killed specifically to follow their masters into the afterlife – lie alongside precious objects and weapons. A new study from Egypt has brought this practice back into the news. At the ancient royal cemetery of Abydos, archaeologists re-examined the skulls of people buried around the tombs of...

Paramount Pictures just premiered its live-action reboot film Street Fighter starring Andrew Koji, Noah Centineo, Jason Momoa and Callina Liang. The film’s plot follows the game’s fighter avatars Ryu (Koji) and his estranged...
