The Dance DJ Launches Performance Dance Sets in Bridport

Bridport, United Kingdom, September 24, 2026 -- The Dance DJ is launching Club Electric, a monthly underground music night at the Electric Palace, 35 South Street, Bridport, DT6 3NY, opening with a performance dance set on 2 October 2026 at 10:00pm. Mark Oborn, who performs as DJ Mark-e-ting, specialises in performance sets rather than background music. His approach draws on experience as a dancer, including competitive West Coast Swing and Modern Jive demonstration and coaching.
Performance sets move between house, EDM, club anthems and music from the 1980s onward, remixed for dancing, and are built around phrasing, transitions, tension and timing rather than a fixed playlist. Each set is mixed live and adapts to the response of the dancefloor. For private and venue DJ hire, Oborn discusses musical preferences, must-play tracks and tracks to avoid ahead of each booking.
The initiative is intended to support the regional hospitality evening trade by offering venues a club-focused evening format aimed at encouraging additional evening footfall.
