A leading creator of photography resources has released news of a brand new academic scholarship for 2020. Three scholarships are up for grabs, with the aim of helping budding photographers gain the skills and qualifications they need for this career.

Greater Than Gatsby has opened applications for the Greater Than Gatsby Annual Scholarship to support the futures of visual art and content creators. The winners of the three scholarships will receive $2,000 each to go towards tuition expenses at any accredited non-profit college/university or vocational/technical school in the United States.
This is seen as an excellent initiative that provides additional funding help to the most talented content creators and photographers around. It’s the second year that the Greater Than Gatsby scholarship has been running, with the previous iteration providing one lucky winner with $10,000 to pay for their continuing education. As the digital content world becomes more and more competitive, many photographers and visual art enthusiasts need extra training and qualifications to make an impact in their chosen careers. The problem is that tuition fees are extremely expensive, making it impossible for many talented individuals to get the education they need. With these three scholarships, Greater Than Gatsby aims to make further education more accessible for the most talented students around.
Scholarships Open To All Students
Anyone can apply for the Greater Than Gatsby Annual Scholarship, as long as they can prove that they’re either a student in high-school or at a college/university in the US. The only other eligibility requirement is that the individual is majoring in any type of art, communications, English, film, fine arts, journalism, multimedia, photography, and visual arts courses.
If all the requirements are met, then the individual needs to apply through the Greater Than Gatsby Website, submitting three photos to showcase their photography talents. Alongside this, a 500-word essay is also required as part of the entry. The deadline for submissions is May 1st, 2020, with the lucky winners being notified by email on June 1st, 2020.
Ongoing Support For The Next Generation
Greater Than Gatsby has established itself as one of the leading creators of exceptional Lightroom Presets, Photoshop Actions, and Lightroom Profiles for photographers. Since 2012 they’ve been offering photographers and visual arts enthusiasts with resources to enhance their work and achieve professional results.
The annual scholarships - which started last year - are yet another example of the company’s commitment to inspiring and supporting the next generation of digital talent. Last year’s winner - Joshua M. Foglietta - has already had their life changed, with the money from the scholarship paying for tuition at Liberty University in Lynchburg. This opens up a world of opportunities for the aspiring student, giving him a chance to learn new skills and gain crucial qualifications to further his career.

To most, the plague is an ancient nightmare, a scourge that wiped out tens of millions in medieval Europe and killed more than 20,000 people in colonial Hong Kong between 1894 and 1929. A recent death at a plague research facility in Siberia is a stark reminder that the bacterium that causes it, Yersinia pestis, was never eradicated. While modern medicine has transformed the former “Black Death” into an easily treatable bacterial infection, the disease continues to circulate quietly across the...

There is something quite deliciously subversive about a freaky shoe. Feet of course already hold a hint of perversion – some people are really into them, while others find them repellent. But shod those feet in a shoe that people can find both compelling and strange? Well actually, that’s fashion catnip. Visceral proof can be found in those who have made the freaky shoe their signature, such as the aristocratic, enigmatic and entirely iconic Daphne Guinness, who always wears a pair of...
