World First Dance Remix of Rock Classic Will Lift You to the Sky
BOSTON, Mass - July 12, 2023 —
Dr Jaymz, a British artist now living in the USA, is at it again. This time with a dance remix of the 1969 Norman Greenbaum classic, 'Spirit in the Sky.’ Ranked as one of the greatest ‘One-hit Wonders of all time,’ the original song has been featured in several movies like ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ and ‘Apollo 13,’ but has never been released as a dance remix until now.
Dr Jaymz’s Remix sets the mood right off the bat, revealing his penchant for energetic dance rhythms and infectious electro melodies. His soulful vocals fused with epic riffs, blossom into an energetic drop fit enough for a James Bond movie. This remix of Greenbaum’s classic will not only create a sense of nostalgia among audiences, but also entertain listeners with a big room sound that’s destined to be a dance-floor anthem.
“My goal is to continue releasing music that conveys a message of love and hope to all generations, but especially the younger generation because they are facing unprecedented struggles” - Dr Jaymz
This new release competes with some of the finest artists in the dance music scene today and is a true indication of what Dr Jaymz brings to the table. Spirit in the Sky (Dr Jaymz Remix) is currently available on all digital streaming services. Download or listen to Spirit in the Sky HERE.
